Account management guide
What each part of your account does: profile, sign-in, notifications, the dashboard tools, and deactivation.
What is in your dashboard
- Dashboard: your companies and the status of each application
- Company: one page per company with registration details, documents, shareholders and filings
- Filings: the returns and renewals we track for your jurisdiction, each with its deadline and status. It appears once a company is registered
- Billing: invoices, receipts and your subscription
- Bank:suggested banking partners for companies formed in the United States, the UAE and Hong Kong, with an introduction. The decision is always the bank's
- Referral: your referral link and payouts
- Notifications: the full history of your in-app notifications, shown whatever your email preference is set to
- Tools: three informational calculators, covered below
- My tickets: support tickets and their replies
- Account: profile, preferences and deactivation
Profile
Account settings are at Dashboard > Account. The profile form has four fields:
- Full name: required, 3 to 60 characters. Used on applications and invoices, so it should match your identity document
- Phone number: required, with country code
- Company: optional, 3 to 80 characters
- Email: shown but not editable. It is the address you signed in with and it identifies the account
Changes take effect as soon as you save. To change the email address on the account, write to support@offshorepro.cloud from that address.
Sign-in and password
Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, on the sign-in and sign-up screens rather than inside the dashboard. Password changes and password resets happen there.
- If you have forgotten your password, use the reset link on the sign-in page. The reset email goes to the address on the account
- We never ask for your password. No email from us will ever request it
- A change to who can access the account, and deactivation, are always confirmed by email to the address on the account, even if you have turned email notifications off
- Report anything suspicious to support@offshorepro.cloud
In-app notifications
The bell in the dashboard header carries a badge with the number of notifications you have not read, and opens the most recent ones. Dashboard > Notifications shows the full list. A notification is created when:
- A filing deadline is approaching
- A filing changes status
- Your application changes status
- We reply to one of your support tickets
- A due diligence document is rejected and has to be sent again
- There is VAT information for your UAE company
Mark a notification as read from the bell or from the notifications page, one at a time or all at once. Notifications that point at a specific page carry a link to it.
Email notifications
Dashboard > Account > Preferences has one switch: email notifications. It is saved to your account and applied when a message is sent. It silences optional email only: the welcome message, application progress updates, ticket replies and questionnaire receipts. It has no effect on the in-app notifications described above.
It never stops contractual, compliance or security email. These are sent whatever the switch is set to:
- Identity verification: request, approval and failure
- Company registration and application rejection
- Subscription expiry warnings and expiry
- Payout confirmations, payout rejections and changes to your payout details
- Account access changes, staff invitations and account deactivation
- Filing reminders and filing status changes
Tools
Dashboard > Tools has three calculators. They are informational: they do not file anything, they do not change your position with any authority, and they are not tax advice. Confirm your position with a qualified adviser in the country concerned.
- Days by country: how many days you spent in each country over a given period. Entries are saved to your account, so the log is still there the next time you sign in
- U.S. Residency Calculator: the IRS Substantial Presence Test: days spent in the United States in the current year and the two years before it, weighted, against the 183-day threshold
- Tax Residency Checker:an indication of your risk of being treated as a tax resident of a country, based on the days you spent there and the ties you declare, under that country's own rules
The other two calculators keep what you type only while the page is open.
Deactivating your account
Dashboard > Account > Danger zone has one action: deactivate account. You confirm it in a dialog, and it takes effect immediately.
- You are signed out and lose access to the platform
- Documents associated with the account are removed after 30 calendar days
- A confirmation email is sent to the address on the account
- Records we are required to keep under AML and accounting rules are retained
Before you go
- Download the company documents you want to keep
- Deactivating your account does not close your companies. The registry, the registered agent and the tax authority still expect their filings
- Payments already made are not refunded. All payments are final
There is no self-service reactivation. If you deactivated by mistake, write to support@offshorepro.cloud and we can restore access while the data is still there.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change my email address myself?
No. The email field is read-only because it identifies the account. Write to support@offshorepro.cloud from the current address and we will change it.
What happens if I forget my password?
Use the password reset link on the sign-in page. The reset email goes to the address on the account.
Can two people share one account?
No. Each account belongs to one person, and identity verification is tied to that person. Multi-user access is not available today.
If I turn email notifications off, will I miss a filing deadline?
No. Filing reminders, filing status changes, verification outcomes and subscription warnings are always sent, whatever the preference is set to, and every one of them also appears in the dashboard under Notifications.
